BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered the ABC variety store in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. through a side window over the weekend and stole 12 pagers and 40 cans of soft drink, all valued at more than $1,000.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Electronic equipment valued at nearly $30,000 was damaged or destroyed by someone who entered a building owned by WBFF-TV in the 3500 block of Parkdale Ave. between July 19 and yesterday. The intruder also broke several windows and splashed paint on walls.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A gray 1993 Chevrolet van with tags 70A886 was stolen yesterday from the Union Memorial Hospital's garage in the 200 block of W. University Parkway.

ROBBERY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Tony" who is accused of striking a resident of the 1600 block of N. Calhoun St. in the face and stealing her keys during an incident at the woman's home yesterday.

ROBBERY TRY: Southwestern District -- Two armed men attempted to rob Lee's grocery in the 2700 block of W. North Ave. yesterday but fled when an employee threw something at them.

STOLEN CAR: Eastern District -- A 1987 Nissan Maxima with tags CGX 567 was stolen yesterday from the 2300 block of Greenmount Ave.

Baltimore County

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of Manor Road yesterday and stole jewelry valued at $5,000.

ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A gunman robbed Chalet Charles in the 6200 block of N. Charles St. of an undisclosed sum of money yesterday.
