Annapolis and Anne Arundel County police arrested two men and seized suspected cocaine worth $140,000 at a downtown public housing development yesterday, authorities said.

Police received an anonymous tip that the drugs were being kept in a townhouse in the Bywater Mutual Homes community, authorities said. They said when police searched the townhouse in the 1800 block of Copeland Street at 5 p.m., they found 4 kilograms of suspected cocaine in an upstairs bedroom.

Marshall Hall Jr., 38, and Veda Dorsey, 48, who were both in the apartment, were charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, authorities said. The arrests were part of a joint city, county and federal investigation into drug trafficking in the county.
