Man with knife steals money from motel in Arnold

A man armed with a 6-inch knife robbed an Arnold motel Sunday morning of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.

The man walked into the Days Inn in the 1500 block of Whitehall Road about 2:50 a.m. and brandished the knife at Andrew Andrezywski, 20, the clerk on duty. The robber ordered Mr. Andrezywski to open the cash drawer and took the money when the clerk complied, police said.

The man then ordered Mr. Andrezywski and a witness who was in the office to lie face down on the floor and not to move before he ran off, police said.
