* Deep Run: Manchester engines responded to a pole fire in the 3700 block of Back Woods Road at 4:24 p.m. Friday. Units were out 35 minutes.

* Manchester: Manchester engines and the rescue squad from Reese were dispatched to investigate the report of a carbon monoxide detector activation in a house in the 3000 block of Main St. at 5:32 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 50 minutes. Residents of the building evacuated the house and no one was injured.
