POLICE

* Westminster: An employee of the county school system reported to city police someone broke a window of Westminster Elementary School in the 800 block of Uniontown Road on Wednesday. A bottle was thrown through the glass and damage was estimated at $200.

An official of Luskin's in 140 Village Shopping Center told city police someone shattered a large showroom window of the store Tuesday. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

FIRE

* Pleasant Valley: Pleasant Valley, Taneytown and Westminster were dispatched to a house fire on Running Brook Drive at 5:50 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 19 minutes.

* Westminster: Westminster, Reese, Manchester and Pleasant Valley were dispatched to an apartment fire on Sullivan Avenue at 7:05 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 21 minutes.

Westminster, Reese, Manchester and Pleasant Valley were dispatched to a building fire on Pleasanton Road at 5:12 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 27 minutes.
