Harrisburg rips Baysox

HAGERSTOWN — BOWIE -- Steve Falteisek threw eight innings of two-hit ball and Matt Rundels went 4-for-5 with four RBIs to help the Harrisburg Senators to a 9-3 rout of the Bowie Baysox last night in a Double-A Eastern League game.

Falteisek (8-4) walked five and struck out four. Rundels capped off a three-run eighth with a two-run homer. The Senators' Tyrone Horne went 2-for-4 with a two-run double.

Crawdads 4, Suns 3

HAGERSTOWN -- Mario Valdez drove in the go-ahead run in the 11th inning to lead Hickory to its second straight victory over Hagerstown in a Single-A South Atlantic League game.

The Crawdads had not won back-to-back games since April 30 and May 1 and had not won two in a row on the road all season.
