SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking a 22-year-old woman who shot a resident of the 1900 block of Swansea Road in the hand during an incident yesterday in an apartment in the 4900 block of Goodnow Road. The victim, a man, was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

SHOOTING: Eastern District -- A man and woman were each shot last night in the 2100 block of E. North Ave. Both were taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where they were treated for non-life threatening wounds. Police recovered 18 shell casings at the scene.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 600 block of Homestead St. Wednesday through a second-floor study and stole a TV, cassette player, turntable, speakers, VCR, drill, vacuum cleaner and a ladder, all valued at nearly $1,600.

BANK ROBBERY: Northern District -- An unarmed man robbed the Signet Bank in the 5200 block of York Road yesterday of an undisclosed sum of money after giving a teller a note demanding money. After putting the money in a brown paper bag he carried with him, the man escaped on foot.

ROBBERY TRY: Southwestern District -- Police were seeking two men who attacked a resident of the 2900 block of Mosher Court in the 700 block of N. Longwood St. early today and attempted to rob him after striking him over the head with an unknown weapon.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A dark blue 1983 Toyota with tags CGE 747 was stolen yesterday from the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road.

ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the block of Cross Country Blvd. was in the 3700 block of Ayrdale Ave. yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash, a jacket and other property, all valued at more than $60. During the robbery, the victim was shot in the buttock and was taken to Sinai Hospital for treatment.

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a van owned by a surveying firm in the 4000 block of North Point Blvd. yesterday and stole a power washer valued at $500.

BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- A 1991 Kawasaki 440 Jet Ski valued at $600 was stolen yesterday from a storage shed in the 7800 block of Meath Road.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: North Point Precinct -- Two men were arrested and charged with entering a storage shed in the 4000 block of North Point Road yesterday and stealing welding equipment and a lawn mower, all valued at $700. Held at the precinct awaiting a bail hearing were Thomas W. Spennt, 43, of the 7800 block of St. Gregory Drive, and David Myers, 36, of the 7900 block of St. Clare Lane.

THEFT: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 100 block of Orange Court Wednesday and stole jewelry valued at more than $5,000.

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Power tools valued at $5,000 were stolen yesterday from the storage locker of an apartment building in the 4000 block of Silver Spring Road.

PURSE SNATCH: Towson Precinct -- A 28-year-old Towson woman was knocked to the pavement by a man Wednesday when she got off a bus at Bosley and Washington avenues. The assailant stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $100.
