Two men take cigarette cartons from High's store

Two men walked out of a Severn High's store Wednesda evening with $68 worth of cigarettes as the clerk helped another customer, county police said.

The clerk at the store in the 2600 block of Annapolis Road told police the men came in about 7:45 p.m. One of the men took four cartons of cigarettes from a display near the counter while the other took seven packs of cigarettes from the counter, police said.

Both men then left the store, got into a blue Ford Escort and drove down Ridge Road toward Dorsey Road, police said.
