MIAMI -- The Baltimore Football Club will sound less like a conglomerate and more like a sports team by its home opener on July 8.
Owner Jim Speros said last night he would give the franchise a nickname but is holding off on the announcement.
"I will say that in the off-season I had about 1,000 pieces of mail suggesting nicknames," Speros said. "I think the fans will be happy with what I've chosen."
