County health inspectors visited 139 food services businesses from June 1 to 15 and cited nine of them for failure to meet health and safety codes.

Two establishments were temporarily closed when problems could not immediately be corrected.

Country Kitchen, in the 100 block of West Central Ave., Edgewater, was closed June 6 because of an unsatisfactory water supply. It reopened later that day.

McDoogal's, in the 8000 block of Fort Smallwood Road, Pasadena, closed when a sewer backed up June 6. It reopened later that day.

* 7-Eleven, 500 block of Quarterfield Road, Severn. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Shady Side Market, 1400 block of Snag Harbor Road, Shady Side. Food adulterated or spoiled.

* Sausage Plus, 7700 block of Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature. Reinspection required.

* Chick-fil-A, Marley Station, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature. Reinspection required.

* McDonald's of Glen Burnie, 7900 block of Old Annapolis Road, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Mel's Diner, Parole Plaza, Annapolis. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Roy Rogers, 7500 block of Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Royal Farms, 200 block of Oak Manor Drive, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.

* Hardee's of Southgate, 1600 block of Crain Highway, Glen Burnie. Food not held at proper temperature.
