The Harford County Crime Solvers, a group of concerned residents, is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the indictment of whoever broke into three Whiteford houses on March 10 between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. and stole money, jewelry and a motorcycle.

Witnesses told police they had seen a late 1970s or early 1980s dark-colored, full-sized pickup with a loud modified exhaust and roll bar or ladder rack pulling away from one of the homes.

Two homes on Whiteford Road and one on Tillye Drive were damaged, and the combined loss for all three homeowners was estimated at $3,000, police said.

Anyone with information should call Crime Solvers at (410) 877-STOP.

Callers do not need to give their names to collect a reward,

police said.
