June 22, 1995

A Pasadena man was killed Tuesday morning when his upper body was crushed beneath his truck after he was hurled from the vehicle during a collision with a Ford Bronco in Millersville, county police said.

Douglas Paul Jarosinski, 44, of the 100 block of Hastings Lane was pronounced dead at the scene of the 9 a.m. accident. The driver of the Bronco, Raymond Lee Walker Sr., 60, of the 7800 block of Woodside Terrace in Glen Burnie was treated at North Arundel Hospital for head and spine injuries and released, police said.

Mr. Jarosinski was driving his 1994 Chevrolet truck south on Najoles Road approaching the intersection with Benfield Boulevard. Mr. Walker, who was driving his 1990 Ford Bronco west on Benfield Boulevard, allegedly failed to yield at a stop sign and drove into the intersection, police said. The truck hit the Bronco on the passenger side, causing Mr. Jarosinski's vehicle to spin and overturn on its driver's side.

According to police, Mr. Jarosinski, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the truck and crushed beneath it.
