* Ellicott City: 9500 block of U.S. 40: Someone kicked in a home's front door and stole a Smith and Wesson .357-Magnum handgun Tuesday, police said.

9000 block of U.S. 40: A green 1995 Chevrolet conversion van was stolen from Miller Brothers Chevrolet Monday, police said.

4800 block of Montgomery Road: Officers responding to a High's store alarm Monday night found the front door unlocked and groceries stolen, police said.

3700 block of Dorsey Search Circle: A blue 1989 Chevrolet Blazer with Maryland tags AAB-25H was stolen Tuesday, police said.

3300 block of Greenway Drive: Jewelry was stolen from a home after a burglar cut a screen and entered through a rear basement door Tuesday, police said.

3300 block of N. Chatham Road: A burglar entered a first-floor sliding glass door a resident had left open Tuesday night and stole a television, police said.

3000 block of Autumn Branch Lane: A brown 1987 Honda Civic with Maryland tags TZN-737 was stolen Tuesday morning, police said.

* Elkridge: 6800 block of Norris Lane: A burglar broke a home's rear window and stole stereo equipment Monday. At the same time, police said someone entered a home's unlocked garage and took tools.

6500 block of Hanover Road: Stereo equipment was stolen after a burglar shattered a home's glass door and entered the house Saturday night, police said.

6400 block of Elibank Drive: Someone walked onto grounds of the Russian Orthodox Cemetery, cut a lock off a storage shed and stole tools Sunday, police said.
