THEFT FROM AUTO: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a car parked in the 5400 block of Daywalt Ave. over the weekend and stole a cellular phone valued at $169 and 10 one-dollar bills.

STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1994 Dodge with state government tags SG05461 and assigned to the state's Department of Family Health in the 200 block of W. Preston St. was stolen yesterday from the 3400 block of Elmora Ave.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the 500 block of E. 26th St. was in the 3000 block of Greenmount Ave. yesterday when a gunman robbed him of $50.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Northern District -- Someone broke into a car parked in the 2000 block of Maryland Ave. yesterday by smashing a window and stole a radar detector and a compact disc changer with remote, all valued at more than $600.

ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a 16-year-old resident of the 500 block of N. Carey St. for carrying a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in the 1300 block of Harlem Ave. In a bag the youth was carrying with him, police found a quantity of marijuana.

CUTTING: Southwestern District -- A 37-year-old resident of the 1800 block of Dukeland St. was cut in the lower back yesterday by another man armed with a knife during an incident near the victim's home. The victim was treated at Liberty Medical Center.

THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2500 block of W. Fayette St. over the weekend and stole a 19-inch TV, a VCR and a sweat-suit, all valued at nearly $500.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Police were seeking two men seen fleeing on foot after they broke into R & R Motors in the 1900 block of Old Eastern Ave. and stole an air conditioner valued at more than $100. The break-in occurred last month but was not reported until yesterday.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Woodlawn Precinct -- Police arrested two teen-aged boys who attempted to leave the Sears store at Security Square Mall yesterday without paying for clothing valued at $165. The youths were released into the custody of their parents.

STOLEN CAR: Garrison Precinct -- A blue 1992 Honda Accord with tags AKK 056 was stolen over the weekend from the first block of Straw Hat Road in Owings Mills.
