Today is the deadline for registering for Harbor Hospital Center's next "Super Baby Sitting Course."

The class, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, is for beginning baby sitters and youngsters who assist their parents with child care.

Sitters learn to administer first aid for burns, bleeding, head injuries, bites and stings; recognize potential safety hazards; prevent and treat poisonings; select age-appropriate toys, games and activities; and bathe, diaper and handle infants and children.

The instructor is a registered nurse who customizes activities for each class.

The $20 fee includes comprehensive instructional materials and lunch. To register, call 347-2563.

* Tomorrow, the hospital will hold another "Harbor Heart Talk" from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Gruehn Building, Room 404.

The topic, "Arrhythmias and Irregular Heart Beats: Their Treatments," will help you understand why such heart conditions occur, how they are treated and how people with them still can enjoy life.

For more information, call 347-2298.
