The meeting Wednesday of the Linthicum-Shipley Improvement Association will take place at a different place this month -- Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 200 School Lane.

A brief business meeting at 7:30 p.m. will include election of officers and directors for the next fiscal year. Nominations will be accepted from the floor. A vote also will be taken on whether to donate $1,000 to the Linthicum Elementary School Computer Center fund.

At 8 p.m., representatives from the Mass Transit Administration will talk about the Central Light Rail spur to Baltimore-Washington International Airport, the elimination of a transfer station on the spur that was to be built behind Linthicum Oaks, problems that still arise at the Maple Road crossing and funding for continued security at stations along the rail line. Information: Gerald Starr at 859-8026.
