STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A green 1993 Plymouth Sundance with tags BSM 940 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of W. 24th St.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Northern District -- A cellular phone was stolen Wednesday from a truck owned by Comcast Satellite Communications that was parked in the 5300 block of Ready Ave. A man seen fleeing the scene carrying the telephone was being sought.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $700 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 3000 block of W. Garrison Ave.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3600 block of Malden Ave. was in the 5000 block of Litchfield Ave. Wednesday when she was assaulted by a man and robbed of $20.

THEFT/ARREST: Western District -- A 10-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday and charged with stealing $100 from his mother's purse. She confronted her son at their home on Bennett Place then called police.

BURGLARY: Western District -- Police were seeking a man who entered Record Town at Mondawmin Mall early Wednesday by forcing the metal security screen and stole more than $1,000 worth of electronic video games, compact discs, and at least one compact disc player. The theft was recorded on a store security camera.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 2900 block of Harford Road was near her home Wednesday when two men robbed her of $90 and a federal check for nearly $400.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- A VCR and an electronic TV game, all valued at more than $500, were stolen Wednesday from a townhouse in the first block of Solar Circle.

ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- A 23-year-old Pikesville woman was inside a parking garage in the 1700 block of Reisterstown Road on Wednesday afternoon when a gunman demanded her purse. After the woman threw her purse on the floor, the gunman took it and escaped in a white car driven by a second man. The purse's contents were valued at $200.

ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- A Randallstown motorist was stopped at the drive-thru window of the Taco Bell in the 8100 block of Liberty Road Wednesday night when a man who implied he had a handgun demanded her money. The man reached into an open window and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $100.
