Annapolis Bancshares declares dividend

Annapolis Bancshares Inc., parent company of Bank of Annapolis, has declared a first-quarter cash dividend on common stock of 5 cents a share payable to shareholders of record as of March 31, 1995.

Severn Bancorp Inc., holding company for Severn Savings Bank, FSB, has increased its quarterly cash dividend on common stock from 4 1/2 cents to 5 cents a share, payable to shareholders of record as of March 31.

Mall, Westinghouse gain education honors

Marley Station Mall and Westinghouse Electronic Systems were honored recently for their educational partnership at the Awards for Excellence in Education Dinner, sponsored by the Anne Arundel Trade Council and NationsBank.

Marley Station was recognized in the category of businesses with under 50 employees for contributions to education in the community.

Westinghouse, which took the award for businesses with more than 50 employees, was recognized for its outstanding educational partnership with county schools.

The company sends engineers out to schools as part of the Discover E Program.
