BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- A teen-age cashier at Kmart in the 5100 block of Sinclair Lane was arrested Wednesday and charged with stealing nearly $1,300 over four weeks. The girl had been under surveillance by security personnel.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Two teen-age boys assaulted another boy in the 4900 block of Federal St. on Wednesday and robbed him of several cheeseburgers valued at nearly $5.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- A tape player valued at $100 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 200 block of E. University Parkway.

* ASSAULT/ARREST: Southwestern District -- Police arrested a man who pointed a rifle at three women in the 2000 block of Hollins St. on Wednesday.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Beer valued at more than $50 was stolen Wednesday from an ice box outside the Perry Inn Pub in the 9600 block of Belair Road.

* BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- Appliances and tools, all valued at more than $800, were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1800 block of Portship Road.

* BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- More than $100 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1200 block of 48th St.

HARFORD COUNTY

* BURGLARY: Joppa -- Property valued at more than $10,000 was stolen Wednesday from a home in the 1200 block of Old Joppa Road. Trooper Kerry Fritz said several sets of collectible coins and U.S. coins dating back to the 1800s were stolen. A television set, video cassette recorder, compact disc player, camcorder and camera also were taken.
