A Dunkin' Donuts deliveryman was robbed of cash at gunpoint outside an Ellicott City store yesterday morning, Howard County police said.

The victim was not injured. Police said a man armed with a black handgun surprised the deliveryman as he worked in the 9300 block of U.S. 40 at 1:40 a.m.

The robber demanded cash and ran when the worker complied, police said.

He was described as a white, 6-foot-1-inch male weighing 195 pounds with long, straight black hair and a two-day beard growth. He wore a blue Nike shirt, police said.
