Domino's employee is robbed

A 35-year-old Domino's Pizza deliveryman was robbed at gunpoint of an undisclosed amount of money Tuesday night after he delivered a pizza to a house in the 200 block of Charlotte Lane in Maryland City, county police reported yesterday.

James Hartwell, a deliveryman for the Domino's store in Brock Bridge Shopping Center, dropped off the pizza about 10 p.m., police said. As he walked back to his car, a man walked up to him brandishing a blue, long-barreled, revolver and demanded money.

Mr. Hartwell turned over his money, and the robber ran away through nearby woods toward the Maryland City 7-Eleven store.

* Hanover : Someone apparently kicked out a panel of the front door at a house in the 7400 block of Race Road between 6 a.m and 3 p.m. Monday and stole two televisions, two videocassette recorders, a compact disc player and jewelry, county police said yesterday. The items were worth at least $1,300.
