BOWIE -- Matt Lawton hit a two-run double and scored on a sacrifice fly in the top of the 11th inning to lift the New Britain Red Sox to a 9-6 Eastern League victory over the Bowie Baysox last night.
Reliever Sean Gavaghan (1-0) pitched three innings and struck out two for the win.
Chris Lemp (1-1) took the loss for Bowie.
