ROBBERY: Northern District -- A man robbed the York Club & Liquors in the 5400 block of York Road yesterday of an undisclosed sum of money after jumping over the counter and striking an employee.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a former resident of a house in the 4700 block of Ivanhoe Ave. who entered the dwelling Monday and stole a microwave, TV and VCR, all valued at more than $300.

SHOOTING: Northern District -- A 30-year-old resident of the 500 block of E. 39th St. was in the 600 block of E. 38th St. yesterday when he became involved in an argument with three men. During the argument, one of the men pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the right leg. The victim was treated at Union Memorial Hospital.

THEFT/ARRESTS: Northern District -- Police arrested two boys after they stole a boxer dog valued at $500 from the back yard of a house in the 600 block of St. Dunstan's Road yesterday.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered Mozelle's Boutique in the 4800 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday and stole property valued at more than $200.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a 1993 Nissan Maxima with tags BFY 006 that was stolen from the 2600 block of Denison St. yesterday.

ARREST: North Point Precinct -- A man who cut his wrist in an apparent suicide attempt at his home in the 7200 block of Holabird Ave. last night attacked Officer Glen Wiedeck, one of four officers who attempted to talk the man out of the house. After ordering the officers out, the man tried to stab Officer Wiedeck with a butcher knife he used to cut his wrist. The man was subdued and taken to a hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and treatment of a wrist wound.

MURDER TRY/ARRESTS: Essex Precinct -- Police arrested a 16-year-old boy and were holding him in connection with the attempted slaying of a police officer at Back River Neck Road and East Homberg Avenue yesterday. Officer Michael Eder, a member of the bike patrol, was reportedly struck by a stolen car after he attempted to talk to the driver. The officer, who was dragged about 30 feet, was treated at Franklin Square Hospital and released. A 14-year-old passenger in the car was released to the custody of his parents.
