Burglars take firearms from home in Jessup

Burglars broke into a Jessup home between 1:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday by cutting out the screen of a bedroom window and stole $2,700 worth of firearms, county police said.

The burglars took a Raven .25-caliber semiautomatic handgun from a bedroom dresser. They also took two .22-caliber rifles, one .30-.30 rifle, one 20-gauge shotgun and one 12-gauge pump shotgun from a hall cabinet, police said.
