This year's Minority Advocate award goes to Edward L. Ladd, general manager of Marley Station; the Financial Services Advocate award goes to Michael S. Lofton, executive vice president of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corp.; the Media Advocate award goes to Gary Massaglia, general manager of Jones Intercable; and the Women in Business Advocate goes to Pat Troy, president of Bay Media Inc.

The winners will be honored at a breakfast May 19 at the Omni Inner Harbor Hotel in Baltimore.
