SARASOTA, Fla. -- Dr. James Andrews re-examined the right knee of Orioles outfielder Jeffrey Hammonds yesterday, and cleared him to practice whatever he needs to do to get ready for the season.
Hammonds, who had reconstructive surgery on the joint last October, must continue wearing a knee brace for the next three weeks.
