THEFT FROM AUTO: Northern District -- A back pack, electronic organizer, wallet and other items, all valued at nearly $300, were stolen from a 1984 Chevrolet Cavalier parked in the 4200 blcok of Greenmount Ave. yesterday.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Several power and hand tools were stolen during the weekend from CNS Contractors in the 2400 block of N. Calvert St. by someone who entered through a basement window.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 6100 block of Parkway Drive through a rear window yesterday and stole stereo equipment of unknown value.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- A TV and VCR, all valued at more than $400, were stolen from an apartment in the 600 block of E. 38th St. yesterday by someone who forced open the front door.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Police were seeking a 1990 Honda with tags SRY 998 that was stolen yesterday from the 100 block of Hamlet Hill Road in the Village of Cross Keys.

BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered two apartments in a building in the 600 block of E. 33rd St. yesterday and stole property valued at more than $2,000. From one apartment, an intruder stole a 19-inch TV, 10 compact discs, a VCR, TV games, cologne, a telephone, speakers and other items. From the other apartment, a TV and a ring were stolen. Entry into both apartments was through windows.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 4-door, gray 1991 Acura Legend with temporary tags 38367T was stolen yesterday from the 3600 block of Labyrinth Road.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a garage in the 3900 block of Carlisle Ave. through the front door yesterday and stole a bicycle.

ROBBERY TRY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 2400 block of W. Lombard St. was in the 900 block of Poplar Grove St. early today when he was attacked by four men, one armed with a handgun, who struck him with their fists and the weapon while attempting to rob him. However, the victim was able to flee the attackers and was treated at Bon Secours Hospital for minor injuries.

STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1987 Nissan with no tags was stolen from Esrog auto sales in the 4200 block of Erdman Ave. yesterday.

RAPE: White Marsh Precinct -- Police were seeking the driver of a dark blue pickup truck in connection with the rape of a 30-year-old Highlandtown woman near and industrial area off Todd's Lane Sunday night. After accepting a ride at Eastern Avenue and Ann Street from a man who called himself "Bob," the woman was driven to the 600 block of Todd's Lane off the 8300 block of Pulaski Highway, where she was raped. The man then drove off, leaving the woman. After reporting the incident to police and refusing medical treatment, the woman was driven home by police.

ROBBERY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A 30-year-old Cockeysville woman reported yesterday that she was in the 2100 block of Green Spring Drive Saturday when she was assaulted by a man who struck her with his fist and stole her purse containing more than $3,000 worth of jewelry and more than $600.
