FIRE

* Finksburg: Gamber, Reese and Reisterstown engines responded to a brush fire on Hollinsworth Road at the Baltimore County line at 3:23 p.m. Thursday. Units were out two hours.

* Westminster: Pleasant Valley engines responded for a woods fire on John Owings Road north of Westminster at 3:03 p.m. Friday. Units were out one hour.

Westminster and Reese engines responded for a gas leak in the first block of Liberty St. at 11:05 a.m. Friday. Units were out 18 minutes.

Westminster, Reese and New Windsor engines were dispatched to a house fire on Lincoln Road at 5:53 p.m. Thursday. Units were out 30 minutes.

Engines from Pleasant Valley, Westminster, Taneytown, Littlestown of Adams County, Pa., and a state forest service bulldozer were dispatched to a 2-acre woods fire at Baugher and Hughes Shop roads at 2:36 p.m. Thursday near Baugher's Orchards. Units were out six hours. Units from Pleasant Valley and Taneytown also responded to a truck fire on Baugher Road at 6:23 p.m. Thursday when an area resident thought a truck hauling the forest service bulldozer was on fire. The truck was not on fire and Carroll units were out 25 minutes.
