* AGGRAVATED ASSAULT: Central District -- A 26-year-old man was arrested at his apartment in the 1900 block of Eutaw St. and charged with assaulting another man by hitting him over the head with a stick. The incident occurred near the suspect's home at 1:45 a.m. yesterday. The victim was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

* THEFT FROM AUTO: Central District -- Someone broke the window of a car parked in the 300 block of N. Calvert St. between 8 p.m. Saturday and 1:30 a.m. yesterday.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A business owner was at his car in the rear alley of the 5900 block of Belair Road at 10:20 p.m. Friday when he was approached by a man with an 8-inch kitchen knife. The assailant took $338 in cash and fled.

* RAPE: Northeastern District -- A 30-year-old woman was beaten and raped by three men at Lake Clifton Park, in the 2800 block of St. Lo Drive, on Saturday night. The woman told police she was picked up by the men at a bar on Reisterstown Road, and was driven to Baltimore County and put out of their car after the attacks. She was treated at the Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

* ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A man was approached by two assailants in the 1100 block of E. 33rd St. at 10 p.m. Saturday and robbed of his moped.


* COUNTERFEIT MONEY: White Marsh Precinct -- A woman passed a counterfeit $100 bill at the Caldor department store at Golden Ring Mall in the 6400 block of Rossville Blvd. yesterday. After telling a clerk she only had $27 for a $27.63 purchase, the woman put the $27 back into her purse and gave the clerk the phony money.

* BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- Someone smashed the basement door window of a home in the 500 block of Main St. in Reisterstown between 6 a.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. yesterday. The thief removed a stereo from the home.

* ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- A man was driving in the 1100 block of Reisterstown Road at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, when he was approached by a pedestrian. The pedestrian asked for a ride and then asked for money, but did not display a weapon before grabbing $24 and fleeing.

* ROBBERY: Towson Precinct -- A man who parked a Jeep Wrangler in a nearby parking lot robbed a cashier at the Crown service station in the 6800 block of York Road at 5:45 p.m. Saturday. The man told the attendant that he had a gun in his pocket, and was given an undisclosed amount of cash. The man fled in the Jeep, which police found a short distance away in North Baltimore.
