SHOOTING: Western District -- Police responding to a report of a shooting in the 2400 block of Baker St. shortly after midnight Wednesday found an unidentified man who had been shot at least once in the head. The victim, in his 20s, was on a life-support system at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, a homicide detective said. No arrest had been made and police knew of no motive for the shooting.

ROBBERY: Central District -- A motorist was in the 900 block of Cathedral St. on Tuesday night when he picked up a man and drove him to the 2400 block of Chesterfield Ave. Inside a house there, the motorist was assaulted, tied up and robbed at gunpoint of $160 and an ATM card. After freeing himself, the victim went outside and discovered that his attacker also had stolen his 1991 Nissan with Virginia tags CZO606.

ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 3000 block of Brighton St. was walking Monday in the 1600 block of Rosedale St. when she was assaulted by two men who robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $50.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- Two residents of the 2600 block of Guilford Ave. were assaulted Tuesday in the 200 block of E. 27th St. by two men, one with a handgun, who robbed them of cash and property, all valued at nearly $80.

ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A 17-year-old resident of the 5400 block of Bucknell Road was in the 5400 block of Cedonia Ave. on Tuesday when she was attacked by a youth who struck her in the face and robbed her of a Mickey Mouse ring and other jewelry.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A VCR and $40 in coins were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2400 block of Gainsborough Court.

Baltimore County

THEFT: North Point Precinct -- More than $300 was stolen Tuesday from Little Caesar's pizza in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd.

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- While the occupant of a house in the 1800 block of Yakona Road was away for a few days, someone entered the house and changed the door locks. No property was taken.

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Stereo equipment, a VCR and jewelry, all valued at more than $1,000, were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1200 block of Overbrook Road.

STOLEN CAR: Garrison Precinct -- A 1990 Mercedes Benz with tags BKW 407 was stolen Tuesday from R & H Motors in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road.
