ROBBERY: Southern District -- A couple was playing golf Tuesday at Carroll Park Golf Course in the 2100 block of Washington Blvd. when a gunman emerged from woods at the 10th hole and ordered them onto the ground. The gunman robbed the woman of a sapphire and diamond ring valued at more than $300 and took the couple's golf equipment.

STABBING: Southern District -- When a male resident of the 2500 block of Salerno Place told his female companion he was going for a drive Tuesday night, the woman stabbed him with a kitchen knife. The man was treated at Harbor Hospital Center; the woman was arrested.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 5600 block of Stonington Road was in the 3500 block of Rogers Ave. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of cash and property, all valued at $60.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A 1987 Ford with Virginia tags ABV 6321 was stolen Tuesday from the 3700 block of Park Heights Ave.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: Essex Precinct -- Police were seeking a woman who entered a house in the first block of Akin Circle with a stolen key Tuesday and stole $100.

STOLEN CAR: North Point Precinct -- A four-door gray 1984 Honda Accord with tags YMP 276 and valued at $3,000 was stolen Tuesday from the 7900 block of Wynbrook Road.

BURGLARY: Garrison Precinct -- Stereo equipment, a VCR, compact disc player and other property, all valued at more than $1,400, were stolen Tuesday from a home in the first block of Comill Court.

HARFORD COUNTY

SHOOTING: Jimmy Lee McLaughlin, 20, of the 3800 block of Pride Court in Aberdeen was indicted on attempted murder charges stemming from a Jan. 26 card game at an apartment in the first block of E. Bel Air Ave. Police said the game ended in a fight between the suspect and Fredrick Pipkins, 23, of Abingdon and that the suspect returned and fired a sawed-off shotgun at Mr. Pipkins, wounding him in the hand. The victim was treated at Union Memorial Hospital hand center in Baltimore and released. The suspect is being held in lieu of $200,000 bond.
