April 4: Bathing in the Falls -- This nuisance has already commenced with all its objectionable and disgusting exhibitions. Last Sunday, notwithstanding the month of March was not yet counted with the past, a dozen or more boys were in the middle of the afternoon, displaying themselves in all the noblesse of nature much to the annoyance of course of the multitudes of our citizens.
April 8: Our streets were yesterday afternoon enlivened in a parade of the Independent Light Dragoons.

April 3: Man, horrid man, was excluded from the Woman's College athletic exercises yesterday afternoon, and woman, lovely woman, attired in voluminous Turkish trousers, gave an interesting exhibition of elastic muscles and physical endurance.April 5: The estate of the late Reverdy Johnson, known as "Lyndhurst," was sold yesterday to a party of Buffalo, N.Y., and Baltimore capitalists.
