Marsheck is pitcher perfect

Katie Marsheck pitched a perfect game as Dundalk defeated visiting Randallstown, 17-0, yesterday. Marsheck faced 15 batters and struck out nine in the five-inning game.

Marsheck also hit a homerun for the Owls (1-3). Melissa Rao added two doubles and Ronnie Coles had a triple for Dundalk.

* Towson 8, Sparrows Point 0: Sarah Stokes pitched a no-hitter as Towson (3-1) defeated visiting Sparrows Point. Stokes struck out 14 batters and walked two.

* Franklin 15, Lansdowne 0: Kara Wingate pitched a no-hitter to lead host Franklin (3-0) over Lansdowne. Wingate struck out 11 and walked two batters. Wingate also hit a home run.
