BALTIMORE CITY

* BURGLARY: Southern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1700 block of S. Hanover St. yesterday through the front door and stole a TV entertainment center, video-game cartridges and other TV game tapes, all valued at more than $400.

* STOLEN CAR: Northeastern District -- A 1991 Buick with tags XFG 513 was stolen yesterday from the 5000 block of Hillburn Ave.

* ASSAULT: Northern District -- A 28-year-old resident of the 4700 block of Alhambra Ave. stepped outside of his house yesterday and was shot at by a gunman. The victim escaped injury and told police he didn't know why the man fired at him.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3000 block of Virginia Ave. through the front door yesterday and stole a gold watch, cassette player and five sweatsuits, all valued at more than $1,200.

* ROBBERY: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 700 block of Linnard St. was walking near her home yesterday when a man placed an unknown weapon into her back and robbed her of $4.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- A VCR, tape deck, silverware and jewelry were stolen from a house in the 2800 block of Gwynview Ave. yesterday by someone who entered after removing an air-conditioner from a window.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house under renovation in the 4600 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday and stole paint, a vanity and fixtures, all valued at nearly $350.

* STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A four-door white 1991 Dodge Dynasty with tags BMB 401 was stolen yesterday from the 4000 block of Annellen Road.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* ROBBERY: Garrison Precinct -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed the High's dairy store in the 10500 block of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills yesterday. The men also robbed a customer of her purse. The combined sum of money and property taken was $203.

* STOLEN CAR: Garrison Precinct -- A white 1992 Honda Accord with tags ZNL 747 was stolen yesterday from the 7900 block of Starburst Road.

* BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Jewelry and camera equipment, all valued at nearly $1,600, were stolen yesterday from a house in the 400 block of Murdock Road by someone who entered through a rear basement window.

* BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A VCR and TV were stolen yesterday from an apartment in the 700 block of E. Padonia Road by someone who reportedly entered through a rear door.

* THEFT: Essex Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 500 block of Seversky Court yesterday and stole $500.

* THEFT FROM AUTO: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a truck parked on the property of the Atlas concrete and paving company in the 7900 block of Stansbury Road yesterday and stole a concrete cutting saw valued at more than $800.

* STOLEN CAR: North Point Precinct -- A blue 1989 Volvo 740GL with tags RWZ 946, valued at $9,000 was stolen yesterday from the parking lot at the Eastpoint Mall in the 7800 block of Eastern Blvd.
