ARSON: Southwestern District -- Someone set fire to piles of cardboard at G & F Transmissions in the 300 block of Caton Ave. today, causing minor damage.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Southwestern District -- A purse, its contents, and a radar detector, all valued at $650, were stolen from a 1993 Toyota pickup truck parked in the 100 block of S. Warwick Ave. yesterday.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Northern District -- Someone entered a 1983 Renault parked in the 6100 block of Parkway Drive yesterday and stole a carrying bag containing property valued at more than $300.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 21-year-old resident of the 5500 block of Midwood Ave. was in the 800 block of E. 30th St. when he was assaulted by three men, one with a handgun, who robbed him of $100 and a pager. During the robbery, the gunman struck the victim in the eye with the weapon.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A 28-year-old woman was in the 2500 block of Guilford Ave. yesterday when a gunman robbed her of a leather bag, pager and a small sum of money, all valued at more than $100.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- A 1989 Chevrolet with tags 15404B was stolen Tuesday from the 5900 block of Dunroming Way.

STOLEN CAR: Northern District -- Police were seeking a 1993 Mitsubishi with tags BLE 530 that was stolen yesterday from the 5900 block of Breckenridge Road.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A Baltimore County woman was in the 5500 block of Wabash Ave. yesterday when she was stopped by a man who demanded her purse. When the woman attempted to flee, the man grabbed onto the purse, containing cash and property all valued at $60, and stole it.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of Daytona Avenue was standing at a 24-hour teller machine in the 4400 block of Park Heights Ave. yesterday when a gunman ordered him to withdraw money from his account. The victim complied, taking out $240 and giving it to the gunman.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Northeastern District -- Police arrested a 27-year-old resident of the 2300 block of Mulberry St. after he struck a woman with a baseball bat during an incident yesterday at her home in the 1800 block of Hillenwood Road. The woman sustained an injured elbow and was treated at an area hospital.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1700 block of Homestead St. yesterday and stole an 8 mm camcorder valued at $800.

Baltimore County

BURGLARY: North Point Precinct -- Someone entered a mini-storage locker in the 6800 block of Rolling Mill Road yesterday by forcing open a door and stole a 37-inch giant screen TV, a 27-inch TV, stereo equipment, a sofa, loveseat and chairs, all valued at more than $2,000.

BURGLARY/ARRESTS: Parkville Precinct -- Police arrested three teen-age boys after they entered a construction trailer parked in the 9800 block of Hickory Hurst Drive Monday and stole five locksets and a sliding door security bar, all valued at $60. Two of the youths were arrested at the scene when police arrived after they received an anonymous telephone tip. The third boy was arrested at his home. The property was recovered. The youths were released into the custody of their parents.
