A man wanted in connection with shooting another man near City College last night was shot by pursuing police after he fired a shot at them, police said.
The man was listed in fair condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital and has refused to identify himself.
Charges against him were pending.
While uniformed police were investigating the shooting of a man near the school around 8 p.m., plainclothes officers spotted the suspect near the 1500 block of Carswell St. a short time later and gave chase.
