March 29, 1995

County police arrested a Millersville man on drug and traffic charges Sunday night after stopping his vehicle, officials said.

Officer Vincent Butler was on routine patrol about 9:30 p.m. when he saw a 1977 Chevrolet heading east on Route 175 near Higgins Drive. The car had a truck's license tag, police said. Officer Butler stopped the vehicle after the driver pulled into the driveway of a house in the 700 block of Route 175, police said.

The car had no registration, and the tags belonged to an International truck. Officer Butler ordered the man out of the car and asked to search him. When the man agreed, Officer Butler searched the man and found a marijuana pipe with marijuana residue in his right front pants pocket, police said.

Jason Davis Link, 18, of the 1600 block of Millersville Road was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. He also was cited for driving an unregistered car and for having tags belonging to another vehicle.
