Southwestern Athletic Conference -- Reprimanded, fined and suspended Alcorn State basketball coach Sam Weaver one game for refusing to leave the court after being ejected Feb. 13.

Alabama-Birmingham -- Announced that QB Rodney Hudson has transferred from Mississippi State and will be eligible for the 1995 season after sitting out last season.

Fairfield -- Will announce today that it is adding a football team, at the Division I-AA level, in the fall of 1996.

Miami (Florida) -- Men's basketball coach Leonard Hamilton (15-13) signed a new four-year contract through the 1998-99 season.

Texas-San Antonio -- Named Jeff Spivey women's basketball coach.

Atlanta Falcons -- Re-signed unrestricted free-agent QB Bobby Hebert to a one-year contract.

Buffalo Bills -- Re-signed unrestricted free-agent C Adam Lingner.

Carolina Panthers -- Agreed to terms with unrestricted free-agent QB Frank Reich, who had been with the Bills.

Cincinnati Bengals -- Agreed to a two-year, $1 million deal with RB Eric Bieniemy, who spent four seasons with the San Diego Chargers and gained 295 yards on 73 carries last season.

Denver Broncos -- Signed unrestricted free-agent G Mark Schlereth, who had been with the Washington Redskins, to a three-year contract.

Los Angeles Raiders -- Signed unrestricted free-agent RB Derrick Fenner, who had been with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Minnesota Vikings -- Re-signed QB Brad Johnson, C Mike Morris, DE Martin Harrison and LB Pete Bercich.

U.S. Skiing -- Named Nick Badami interim CEO. Named Stewart Turley chairman of a search committee to select a new CEO. Announced that CEO Mike Jacki will be reassigned to a new position that focuses solely on revenue generation.
