Finnell's 4 goals carry Duke over Georgetown, 14-9

WASHINGTON -- Senior attackman Steve Finnell scored a career-high four goals and added an assist to lead No. 7 Duke past No. 11 Georgetown, 14-9, yesterday for its fifth consecutive victory.

Senior attackman Scott Harrison added a goal and four assists for the Blue Devils (6-1), who used a 7-0 run in the second half to break open a one-goal game.

Sophomore midfielder Dan Martin scored three goals and senior attackman Chris Remington added two goals and two assists for the Hoyas (4-2), who had won four in row.

Duke outshot the Hoyas 43-33.
