March 24, 1995

Because of an editing error, an article in Friday's Howard County section of The Sun misidentified the gender of one of the victims in a fatal accident. The victim, Shawn E. Garrabrant, was a woman.

The Sun regrets the error.

A 33-year-old Columbia man remained hospitalized yesterday, five days after being injured in a car accident on Route 216 that left two people dead.

David Patrick O'Connor of the 9700 block of Covered Wagon Drive in North Laurel was listed in critical condition yesterday at Prince George's County Hospital, a nurse said.
