When sulfite-sensitive readers ask for a wine recommendation, there usually isn't much to recommend. But this Oregon wine is sulfite-free and it's quite good. It's a light, straightforward pinot noir (made from organically grown grapes, not that it matters much) with generous black cherry flavors. Quantities are limited so people without sulfite sensitivities would be considerate if they left this wine to those who can really use it. If you buy it, take special care to store it in a cool place and not hold it too long. Going without sulfites increases the risk of spoilage.
