SHOOTING: Central District -- A passenger in a car stopped on West Mt. Royal Avenue was shot twice in the upper body yesterday by a gunman inside a second car that was driving by. The victim was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of North Chester Street was at the intersection of North Wolfe Street and East Fairmount Avenue yesterday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $35.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Someone entered a house in the 200 block of S. Collington Ave. through a rear door yesterday and stole property valued at more than $400.

ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Noble St. was walking in the 3300 block of Esther Place yesterday when a man robbed him of $4 and a jacket valued at more than $60.

ROBBERY: Northern District -- A gunman robbed the McDonald's restaurant in the 2800 block of Greenmount Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money early todayand escaped on foot.

BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 3900 block of Milford Ave. through a rear door yesterday and stole a VCR, cordless telephone and an answering machine, all valued at more than $600.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A woman from Owings Mills in Baltimore County was walking toward a doctor's office in the 6600 block of Reisterstown Road yesterday when she was robbed of $30 by a gunman.

STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A four-door white 1991 Oldsmobile with tags TPN 151 was stolen from the 4500 block of Pimlico Road yesterday.

ROBBERY TRY/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- A man attempted to rob Pizza Bolis in the 2500 block of Plainfield Road yesterday while implying he was armed and was attacked by several employees who held him down until police arrived.

THEFT/ARREST: North Point Precinct -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave the Super Fresh store in the 1400 block of Merritt Blvd. yesterday without paying for three mouse traps.

STOLEN CAR: White Marsh Precinct -- A 1970 Ford F-100 pickup truck with a white cap and running boards and tags AAD84T was stolen yesterday from the first block of Trailwood Court.

BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 11200 block of Notchcliff Road through the front door yesterday and stole a VCR valued at $450.

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- Someone entered a storage locker in an apartment building in the 7600 block of Hillendale Road over a period of several several weeks and stole clothing valued at $3,400.
