POLICE

* Westminster: Two residents of West Green Street reported that someone stole the headlights from their bicycles parked at Cranberry Mall Sunday. The victims estimated their losses at $60.

A resident of Shrewsbury, Pa., told police that someone scratched the side of her auto while it was parked on Airport Drive Saturday. She estimated the damage at $400.

A South Church Street resident told police that someone stole his bicycle from his house Saturday. He estimated the value of the bike at $50.

A Western Maryland College student reported that someone stole stereo equipment from her Friday. She estimated the loss at $769.

Another Western Maryland student told police that someone scratched the right side of her auto while it was parked at the college Friday. She estimated the damage at $800.

An employee of Shoney's Restaurant at Route 140 and Englar Road reported that someone stole a bank bag from the locked safe in the restaurant Friday. The bank bag contained $1,885. Westminster police are investigating.

A Bond Street resident told police that someone damaged his auto while it was parked on West Green Street Friday. He estimated the damage at $300.

A resident of Hersh Avenue told police that someone broke into his auto while it was parked near his home and stole $100 worth of items from it Friday.

A resident of East Main Street reported that someone slashed the front left tire on his auto Thursday. He estimated the damage at $110.

FIRE

* Pleasant Valley: Firefighters from the Pleasant Valley station responded to a woods fire in the 4700 block of Babylon Road at 6:08 p.m. Sunday. They were out 55 minutes.

* Reese: Reese and Westminster firefighters responded to investigate a report of a fire alarm sounding in a building in the 1900 block of Bethel Road at 3:22 p.m. Saturday. Units were out 20 minutes.
