Outlook: The Knicks have lost two of their past three games and appear to be torn by dissension. F Anthony Mason and coach Pat Riley exchanged words on the bench during Tuesday's win over the Denver Nuggets. Riley told Mason to leave the bench, and yesterday suspended him. Still, the Knicks are second in the Atlantic Division and are 2-0 against the Bullets this season. Washington has won two of its past three, but is coming off Tuesday's loss to the Chicago Bulls. C Gheorghe Muresan is coming off career highs in points (21) and rebounds (14), and has a history of giving Knicks C Patrick Ewing problems.
