Spirit Tonight

March 17, 1995

Opponent: Harrisburg Heat

Site: State Farm Show Arena, Harrisburg, Pa.

Time: 7:35

Radio: WWLG (1360 AM), WAMD (970 AM)

Outlook: The Spirit and Heat are running two-three in the National Professional Soccer League's American Division and are likely to meet in the playoffs for the third straight year. Harrisburg, 1 1/2 games behind, conceivably could overtake the Spirit and thus earn the home-field advantage for the playoffs. The Spirit leads the season series, 3-2. If Harrisburg wins tonight to tie the series, and the teams finish the regular season tied, the Heat would get the home-field advantage based on winning margin. Harrisburg has won two of the games by a total of 17 points; the Spirit has won three by eight. This will be the first of three games in three nights for the Heat. The Spirit will have a night's respite before entertaining the St. Louis Ambush Sunday.
