Outlook: The Capitals, having enjoyed two days in the Florida sun, will try to continue their winning ways tonight. G Jim Carey, 6-0-1 with a 1.41 goals-against average, is the expected starter. With Carey in net, Washington has climbed from 13th in the Eastern Conference to seventh, improved its record to 9-10-6 and could reach .500 for the first time with a win tonight. The Capitals are 6-1-5 in their past 12 games. Washington G Rick Tabaracci (sore back), RW Pat Peake (mononucleosis) and C Dave Poulin (groin) are out. Florida D Keith Brown (swollen left knee) is day-to-day and D Randy Moller (sprained left knee) is out.
