Mount St. Mary's unable to overcome Ohio State, 14-9

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Thomas Wade scored four goals as Ohio State downed Mount St. Mary's, 14-9, at Woody Hayes Field yesterday.

Tom Martin added three goals and two assists for the Buckeyes (2-1).

Matt Moran had three goals and two assists and Todd Sauer added three goals for the Mountaineers (0-2), who have been outscored 37-12 this season.

Ohio State jumped out to leads of 4-2 and 7-3. Buckeyes goalie Tony Lignelli made 14 saves.
