1. Cypress Homes is planning to build 26 two-story, three- and four-bedroom single-family homes at Wakeford Green, overlooking the Wakefield Valley Golf Course in Westminster, Carroll County.

The homes will range in size from 2,100 to 2,800 square feet, with prices starting at $179,900. Models are expected to be completed in May.

The Douglas, a traditional home with double-entry foyer, has 2,400 square feet and a base price of $192,500. The entry is flanked by a 14-by-11-foot living room and 15-by-12-foot formal dining room. The center hall leads to the breakfast room off the 14-by-11-foot L-shaped kitchen. Completing the first floor is a 14-by-11-foot family room -- which can be entered through optional French doors from the living room -- a powder room and laundry, adjacent to a two-car garage.

On the second level, there is an 18-by-14-foot master bedroom with double walk-in closets, bath with separate shower and a double vanity. There are three more bedrooms and a hall bath.

To get to the sales office, take the Beltway to I-795, to Route 140 west, go to Westminster, take Route 131 south (New Windsor Pike) for about a mile and a half, turn right onto Tahoma Farm Road, to end to sales office.
