2 accused of growling at bagel shop customers

Two men were arrested Wednesday evening at a Crofton bagel shop after the employees complained that the men growled at customers and dropped pizza on the floor, county police said.

Witnesses said the men walked into the Chesapeake Bagel Bakery in the 1100 block of Route 3 shortly after 6 p.m. The men, who had a pizza with them when they entered, walked up to patrons and growled as they ate. One of the men threatened to smash a female customer in the face with the pizza, police said.

Employees called police after the men refused to leave. Officer Michael Calvert said that when he entered he noticed the men growling while eating pizza and he saw pizza on the floor.

Russell C. Dashiells, 22, of the 100 block of Louise Terrace in Glen Burnie and Thomas Carroll Clark, 24, of the 300 block of Dutchship Road in Pasadena were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, police said.

Severn man charged with possessing cocaine

A Severn man was arrested on drug charges Wednesday morning after officers found 2 grams of crack cocaine on him, county police said.

Officers Jeffrey Fratantuono and Robert Vane were on foot patrol in the 1600 block of Meade Village Circle shortly after 2 a.m. when they saw a man who appeared to be making a drug deal and walked away when he spotted the officers, police said. The patrolmen stopped the suspect and found two bags of crack in his left shirt pocket, police said.

Milton McLean, 26, of the 1800 block of Montreal Road was charged with possession of cocaine, police said.
