The 1994-95 Howard/County Indoor Track Team

* Zuzette Mullings, Howard, Sr. -- Her best event was the 300 where she finished first in the county and region meets and fourth in the states. She was fourth in the county and second in the region in the 500. The transfer from Jamaica ran on the 200 relay team that won the county (county record, 1:49.4), region and states. And she competed on the 400 relay team that won the county and region and finished fourth at states. Both relays set county records.

* Lindsay Rupp, Glenelg, Sr. -- She won the state Class 1A-2A title in the 55 hurdles (8.7). She finished second in the region and third in the county.

* Beth Santilli, Glenelg, Fresh. -- Winner of the Ironwoman Award at the county meet, she won the county 1,600 (5:39.6) and 800 (2:29.1). And she ran on the county-champion 3,200 relay. At regions she finished second in the 1,600 and third in the 800. At the Class 1A-2A state meet, she was third in the 1,600 and fifth in the 800.

* Melissa Williamson, Howard, Sr. -- She won county and regional high jump titles and finished third in states. Her best was 5 feet, 3 inches, which tied a county record.

The Baltimore Sun All-Howard County Indoor Track and Field team was selected by Rick Belz after consultation with staff writers and area coaches.
